Painter between fauvism and expressionism. His painting transmits an impact of unusual sensations in our time. He does almost all his painting en plein air like the symbolist painters of other times.

Restless, nonconformist and committed to ecology. Nature is the main theme of his work, especially plants and trees, although he deals with urban themes as well as seascapes
and rural landscapes.

Jordi Santacana shows surprising sharpness in the use of color, which reminds us of Vincent Van Gogh's painting.

He has traveled and painted in Mexico, the United States, Germany, Menorca, Paris, Morocco and India.

He exhibits periodically in Barcelona and Vilanova.
