Jordi Vilella Fontelles

A photography enthusiast since he was very young and a self-taught silkscreen printer. He created his own silkscreen printing workshop in 1983 and since then he has worked with several artists and on his own graphic work. In 1999 he created the publishing house APART EDICIONS. Until today he is responsible for more than 200 editions.

Since 2006 he produces silkscreen prints using digital and contemporary illustration techniques, as well as a language between pop art and photomontage.

Currently his artistic production focuses on urban photography with visual strategies that tend to the abstract and with sensibilities close to painting.
