Jordi Vilella Fontelles

Barcelona, 1962

Amateur photographer from a very young age and self-taught screen printer. He created his own screen printing workshop in 1983 and since then has worked with several artists and on his own graphic work. In 1999 he created the publishing house APART EDICIONS. To date he is responsible for the editor of more than 200 editions.

Since 2006 he has been producing silkscreens using digital and contemporary illustration techniques, as well as a language between pop art and photomontage.

Currently his artistic production focuses on urban photography with visual strategies that tend to the abstract and with sensibilities close to painting.
